I need some of this in my iPod when i'm working out!

I must admit that it's been nerve wacking lately not having some new music in my iPod when i'm at the gym. I'm usually listening to my usual artist....Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Supastition, Jake ONe, and plenty more, but i'm sort of bored with the boom bap when i'm working out. It really helps to feel that 808 when i'm pumping that iron. I must say that the song that gets me going is that Common "universal mind control" joint. Got a lot of energy to it. This week I've been loading my iPod with Pastory Troy, T-Pain, LiL Jon, Ludacris, Bun B, and even Shawty Lo.

I know Madd is probably gonna give me some flack for that statement.....LOL! It's okay though, i think every piece of music has to serve a purpose. When i'm trying to stay on task in the gym I certainly don't wanna hear a record that just has that slows my tempo down. One thing a lot of people don't know about me is that I was born and raised in Lousiana and i grew up on a lot of the south music. One in particular is "Bounce music". MY music doesn't mirror what comes out of the south, but i'm not trying to throw a 3rd Brillyance record on at a family bar-b-que. People want that beat and crazy shit to listen to when they are trying to have a good time...LOL!!
